Lekan Ogunbanwo

– Provost

With his clear diction, deep baritone voice, diligence and youthful enthusiasm, Lekan became the darling of viewers and listeners. To further sharpen his knowledge; he proceeded to the Nigerian Institute of Journalism Lagos where he obtained the Professional Diploma in Journalism in 1985.

In a bid to enlarge his capacity for distinction, Lekan attended several relevant courses and on-the-job training. With a strong determination for self-development, Olalekan had a steady rise through the broadcasting ladder. He later graduated with the English Language at the Lagos State University and obtained Masters in Public Administration in the same institution.

At Radio Lagos, he pioneered the evergreen Lagos This Morning Programme which still enjoys wide listenership. He also anchored notable programmes such as Esquire, Ten-to-Twelve, Marathon Beats, Eko FM Man-of-the-year and Sincere Wishes amongst others.

In 1997, the Lagos State Government restructured the comatose former Lagos State Broadcasting Corporation (LSBC). It was split into two autonomous: Lagos State Television Service and Lagos State Radio Services for efficiency. The then Administration named him the General Manager of Radio Lagos. His first primary assignment was the completion of Eko FM project which hit the airwaves on December 1, 1997.

With his unique leadership style, the organization was revived. The patronage of the two stations: Radio Lagos/Eko FM consequently hit the roof. The acceptance and recognition of the two stations brought about credible endorsements and awards. In 2005, Lekan was appointed a Permanent Secretary in the Lagos State Public Service, and redeployed to Radio Lagos and was consequently redeployed to Lagos Television, where he had served in various capabilities for nine years to resuscitate the station. Within the years of his leadership, Ogunbanwo has brought his indelible mark of excellence to bear on the affairs of the Station.

Seun Shobo

An incredibly gifted individual. renowned as The Brandmaster. With his diverse expertise as a brand consultant, premium voice-over talent, and inspirational speaker, he has made a lasting impact on numerous clients and industries. Beginning his career as a brand consultant, Shobo set out with a vision to elevate domestic brands to global prominence. With unwavering dedication, he has collaborated with multinational corporations, nurtured start-up brands, and successfully guided them through various stages of growth and expansion. In 2017, Shobo founded Voiceover Solutions Limited in Lagos Nigeria. An organization that birthed Africa’s first ever training hub for voice over talents -The Voiceover Academy as well as Africa’s largest pool of professional voice over talents. In 2022, he collaborated to expand Voiceover Solutions to the United States, which is the parent brand for TLVO and dive.vo. Shobo’s voice has represented some of Africa’s biggest brands and continues to be a voice of choice. He is an International Ambassador of the Society of Voice Arts and Sciences (SOVAS) and is also a recipient of the Voice Arts®️ Global Influencer Award. Shobo believes that he represents a generation of creative voices who have decided to challenge the status quo, spread the voiceover gospel and leave the world a more excellent voiceover industry.

Adeiye Oluwaseun-Sobo

– Executive Director

A well versed educationist. She has been in the teaching profession for over eight years despite her background in Economics. An Alumna of Covenant University and the University of Nottingham, U.K. She is presently a postgraduate student at the University of Pennsylvania, U.S.A.

She derives pleasure in knowledge transfer and the development of exceptional educational policies that give every single individual, both young and old access to quality education.

Adeiye is also the founder of The Intentional Teachers Network- A support and resource group for teachers who desire excellence. She is an avid reader with depth on various global issues. She supervises the course content coordination at the Voice Over Academy

Ope Oyekanmi

– Faculty

He is a skilled and result-driven individual who is experienced in the areas of Auditing, Financial Reporting, Budgeting and Forecasting with outstanding business knowledge.

Ope has consulted for Media organizations, Banking and Manufacturing institutions. The companies include Discovery Inc, Fiat Chrysler Automotive, Bank of America, Wells Fargo and many more brands.

Opeyemi is passionate about making impactful change in the world through entrepreneurial endeavours. He has done that as a major part of the Voice Over Academy through counsel on Audit, Budgeting and Finance. He is also the founder of the Re-Up app. An application that connects people all over the world by creating curiosity, driving conversations and inspiring conversations.

He is totally committed to investing and supporting the next generation.

Wind Anare

– Faculty

A multi-dimensional Individual. The Wind is a graduate of psychology and is also a certified mix engineer from a mix and mastering school in Germany. He presently leads the team at SoundVille Productions as the creative director.

Wind is an astute professional. He has worked with various brands and on a number of voice projects.

He knows how to study voices and is exactly aware of what to do to make a voice over talent sound perfect. To crown it all up, He is an excellent teacher. He was a professional teacher for over 6 years.
